BATON ROUGE- A club will have to pay a fine after hundreds of complaints were filed against it the city's Alcoholic Beverage Control Board decided Thursday.
Sipps-Empire will have to pay $1,000 for breaking multiple complains rules. Among the issues were people being allowed to drink in the parking lot and failing to notify police of a disturbance.
The club is currently closed.
Ownership switched in August and the new owners need to get a new liquor permit.
