The Blue Star Mothers, a military support group, made care packages for their sons and daughters overseas Saturday morning.
The group stuffed candy, toiletries, snacks, and cards into boxes to be shipped over to war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"A piece of home that's all we want to do," said Linda Furr, "make their lives a little easier the day they open that box and see all those goodies."
The moms say its important to show the troops support all year. If you'd like to help out you can visit www.bluestarmoms.net.
