Blackhawks look to close out Bruins
BOSTON - The sixth game of the Stanley Cup Finals is being played tonight in Boston and if the Bruins don't beat the Blackhawks, the season will be over.
Chicago tops the best of seven series 3-2 and can clinch the Cup and the NHL Championship with a win this evening. Should the Bruins win tonight's game, the seventh and deciding game will be played in Chicago Wednesday night.
There are big questions surrounding tonight's game as the availability of a key player on each club is uncertain. For the Bruins it's Patrice Bergeron and for the Blackhawks it is Jonathan Toew. Neither was able to complete the fifth game because of injury.
Bergeron was injured in the second period of Saturday night's game and made two brief appearances on the ice in the third, but something was obviously wrong and he was unable to complete either shift. Toews missed the entire third period after a shot to the head from Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk.
