Bridge collapse widow adopts Haitian twins
A woman whose husband was killed during the 2007 freeway bridge collapse in Minneapolis is realizing her dream of starting a family with the arrival of adopted twins from Haiti.
Betsy Sathers welcomed 2-year-old Ross and Alyse to her suburban Minneapolis home just days after the earthquake in Haiti.
The 33-year-old new mom said she doesn't feel like she rescued them, but rather that they saved her.
Her husband Scott was among 13 people killed when the Interstate 35W bridge collapsed into the Mississippi River.
