Bicyclist killed in Iberville crash

A Plaquemine man on a bike, was struck and killed in Iberville Parish last night.
It all happened on LA 75 north of LA 404, just after 10:00p.m.
State Police tell News 2, the biker swerved into the highway, directly into the path of a Ford pickup truck.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol is not suspected to have been a factor on the part of the driver of the truck, but impairment of the bicyclist is unknown.
Troopers have submitted a sample of his blood for testing.
