Update: A 42 year-old bicyclist has life threatening injuries after being hit by an SUV in the 4700 block of Prescott Road. Baton Rouge Police say John Carr was taken to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. He remains in critical condition. The driver of the SUV, Shavonda Pondexter was cited for driving with a suspended license.
