Ben Hur Road reopens after gas leak causes closure
BATON ROUGE - Authorities have reopened Ben Hur Road after being shut down for part of the day due to a gas leak.
According to the Baton Rouge Fire Department, a gas leak in the 700 block of Ben Hur Road has shut down the roadway Friday afternoon. Authorities say the road will remain closed in both directions while a Haz Mat team addresses the situation.
