Belle Rose bust leads to the seizure of $4,000 in drugs
BELLE ROSE - $4,000 worth of prescription drugs and illegal narcotics were seized and an arrest was made after a search of a Belle Rose residence on Tuesday morning.
Jeremiah Millien, 33, of Donaldsonville was arrested after detectives found several scheduled prescription drugs, marijuana, cocaine, and heroin in the Klotzville Lane home, according to deputies.
Millien remains in custody in the Assumption Parish Detention Center as of Tuesday and faces possession and distribution drug charges, a gun charge, and five counts of possession of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of a juvenile.
Sheriff Mike Waguespack of the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office said the search and seizure of the drugs was collaborative effort with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division.
