BATON ROUGE – The Belaire High School principal, the football coach, along with two other school officials are on paid administrative leave while the LHSAA officials are conducting an investigation. 

Belaire High School principal Roy Walker, head football coach Claude Coleman, dean of students and athletic director Chauncey Moore and school counselor Linda White were placed on paid administrative leave as of Tuesday due to a pending investigation by the LHSAA regarding the school’s football program.

The investigation was spurred after allegations were reported to the district. The details of the allegations are not known at the time of this post.
