Once again it is a very cold start to the day across the Capital City! We have clear skies with temperatures in the lower to mid 30s. Some patchy frost is possible around town. Be sure to bundle up as you head out the door!
You will probably not need your jacket later today as some warmer air returns to the area. High pressure will be located to the northeast of Louisiana and that will allow southeasterly winds to usher in the warm air from the Gulf of Mexico. We will also see clouds increasing all day from the west. Therefore, we will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 60s.
Expect mostly cloudy skies tonight and it will not be as cold. Low temperatures will only fall to the mid 50s. It is not bad for any Christmas parties that may be going on tonight!
