Bayou Country Superfest kicks off
BATON ROUGE - Thousands filled LSU's Death Valley to enjoy the first night of Bayou Country Superfest on Saturday.
Country music fans were delighted with an array of performances from Kristian Bush of Sugarland, Colt Ford, Tyler Farr, Brantley Gilbert and Kenny Chesney.
"It's just a fun experience being here at Tiger Stadium," said Brandi Quebedeaux.
Some fans say they even likened the festivities to an LSU football tailgate.
"So I think it's a chance for us to tailgate together and come out in the warm weather enjoying it and just being a part of all this," said Todd Foust. "It's about being a part of Tiger Stadium and supporting LSU."
The fest will wrap up on Sunday with expected performances from Cassadee Pope, David Nail, Kip Moore, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.
