Bayou Country Superfest extended to 3-day event
BATON ROUGE – Bayou Country Superfest organizers announced Thursday that the annual Memorial Day weekend country music event will be extended to three days next year.
The now three-day country music festival will kick off Friday, May 27, at LSU’s Tiger Stadium. The event draws thousands of country music fans to Baton Rouge each year.

Event organizers will announce the artist lineup for the 2016 event on Nov. 10.
According to a Thursday release, some Baton Rouge area hotels will be offering special Bayou Country Superfest rates for the duration of the Memorial Day weekend event.
