Baton Rouge's 100 Black Men founder dies
Brace Godfrey, 59, a founding president of 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge, passed away.
A friend of Godfrey's told WBRZ he died of a heart attack early Saturday morning.
Godfrey helped develop leadership programs for African-American youth.
He also launched Cyntreniks with attorney John Schneider in 2005. Since then they have taken on projects in an effort to redevelop downtown Baton Rouge.
