Baton Rouge Police Chief Jeff LeDuff has formally notified city officials of his intention to retire by the end of the year.
The mayor's office provided News 2 with a letter today from Mayor-President Kip Holden to the Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board. In it, Holden said LeDuff had told him he wanted to retire effective December 31, 2010.
