BATON ROUGE - A Baton Rouge man admitted to the possession of child pornography and to lying to the FBI about his plans to force a young girl to have sex with him.

46-year-old Pierre A. Moosebroker, Jr. pleaded guility Thursday to possession of child pornography and making false statements to Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Moosebroker was arrested last March and booked on 17 counts of possession of child pornography after agents found images of juveniles engaging in sexual activity on a computer in his Sarah Avenue residence. He has previously served time on a manslaughter conviction.

A sentencing date for the man has not been set at this time, but the plea agreement calls for a prison sentence of 25 years followed by a lifetime of supervised release. It is subject to court approval.
