WBRZ - Baton Rouge

MONTPELIER - State Police says a 33-year-old Baton Rouge man was killed in a single-vehicle wreck on La. Highway 16 in southeastern St. Helena Parish.

Troopers say David Fontenot Jr.'s sport utility vehicle drifted off the road, hit a parked bulldozer and overturned.

Fontenot, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Helena Parish Coroner's Office.

The accident remains under investigation.
