Baton Rouge lawyer wins "Bachelor of the Year", $10K
NEW YORK - A 25-year-old Louisiana lawyer has been named "Bachelor of the Year" by Cosmopolitan magazine.
Ryan Chenevert, who previously spoke to News 2 about taking part in the competition, was selected from among 52 other bachelors from across the nation. Cosmo readers voted for their favorites online, and Chenevert was selected by the magazine's staff from among those who received the most votes.
Besides the title, Chenevert also received a $10,000 cash prize, which he said he plans to divide between charitable donations and paying off student loans.
