BATON ROUGE - For the second time this year, the capitol city will be buzzing with political activity Thursday evening.

First, Governor John Bel Edwards is set to discuss the state's budget crisis and sell his plan on fixing it in a rare state-wide address. The governor will appear on public broadcasting and a live stream on WBRZ.com at 6:30 p.m.

After the governor concludes his remarks, Louisiana Treasurer John Kennedy said he will provide the Republican response. Kennedy's remarks are scheduled around 6:45 p.m.

At 7:00 Thursday evening, presidential candidate Donald Trump is set to appear at a campaign rally at the River Center in downtown.
