Baton Rouge Food Week to promote healthy eating
BATON ROUGE - Copper Alvarez visited with Anchor Brittney Weiss during our 4 p.m. broadcast on Wednesday to talk about the upcoming Baton Rouge Food Week, which is a week-long community event to highlight food access issues and promote healthy, affordable food choices in the Capital City.
The schedule of events starts on Oct. 20 and culminates with National Food Day on Oct. 24. The calendar of events and locations around Baton Rouge looks like this:
Monday, Oct. 20: Healthy Corner Store Initiative
