Barricades removed from several flooded roads
PRAIRIEVILLE - Ascension Parish officials removed barricades Wednesday evening from several roads that had been blocked by flooding this week.
Department of Public Works Director Johnny Richardson said crews removed barriers at Broussard Road, Kay Drive, Idle Hour Road and Lake Street.
Summerfield South Road and Airport Drive are still barricaded due to water on the roads, according to Richardson.
The back flooding happened after several days of rain in the area. River level information can be found in the WBRZ.com Weather Center by clicking here.
