Bar owner loses license over drug conviction
BATON ROUGE - A felony conviction for narcotics has cost a Clayton, La., bar owner her liquor license.
The Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control has revoked the state liquor permit issued to Frances Mae Williams, owner of Club 65.
Williams recently received a narcotics-related felony conviction and no longer qualifies for a liquor permit of any type in Louisiana.
The felony conviction also prohibits Williams from obtaining employment at any establishment licensed as a bar.
