Banks-Daniel to host first District 2 meeting of the year
BATON ROUGE - Residents in District 2 are invited to attend the area's first meeting of the new year.
Councilwoman Chauna Banks-Daniel wants citizens to come share their thoughts and concerns about the community.
BREC representatives will be on hand to discuss their upcoming summer camps and recreational activities.
The North Baton Rouge Industrial Training Initiative will also attend the meeting to inform residents of their upcoming co-hort opportunities.
Banks-Daniel says residents will get a chance to hear from city-parish agencies.
The meeting takes place this Thursday, March 7, at the Jewel J. Newman Community Center on Central Rd.
It begins at 6 p.m.
