GONZALES – Four members of the Bandido motorcycle gang pleaded guilty today to lesser changes in a shooting that took place last year outside an Ascension Parish bar.

Joe Flores pleaded guilty to attempted manslaughter and two counts of second-degree battery today, according to court documents. As part of his plea deal he was sentenced to serve ten years for each count, but the sentences would run concurrently.

Derrick Johnson, Chester Hunnicutt and Jose Flores also pleaded guilty to lesser charges in connection with the shooting outside of Fred’s Bar in February 2010. All four had intitally been charged with attempted murder and battery.

Joe Flores was accused of shooting Steven Hoff, a former member of the Bandidos, and all four were accused of beating Hoff and a friend of his, Brian McDonald.

As part of their sentences the four men are also required to pay restitution to the two victims, not have any contact with them, and are forbidden from being part of a motorcycle gang.
