TUSCALOOSA- The Alabama Crimson Tide scored the first points of the game on the foot of Cade Foster with a 41-yard field goal in the first quarter.

The score comes after a heartbreaking goal line fumble from LSU's JC Copeland.

The Tigers stopped the Tide following that fumble, but quarterback Zach Mettenberger was charged with another fumble when he stepped into a snap and Alabama recovered.

The Tigers defense seems stout, keeping the Tide at bay on the ground and in the field, but the team must hold onto the ball going forward in the first quarter.
