Baker woman shot and killed Saturday morning
BAKER - Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Baker that happened late this morning.
Officials found the victim's body at 3305 Sandy Drive just before noon.
Baker Police Chief Mike Knaps said detectives caught 38-year old Kolande Williams in a lie. She apparently told them, she arrived home from the store to find her girlfriend of 14-years, Kimberly Stewart, on her property. Knaps said that's when Williams shot her.
However, after she was questioned, Williams confessed to killing her girlfriend after they got into an argument.
