BAKER, La- Fire officials are investigating a blaze allegedly started by a Baker mom.
According to the Baker Fire Department, the woman's child called around midnight Saturday and said her mom was lighting their house on fire.
When firefighters arrived at the home on the 1000 block of Patricia Street, they found the house empty and filled with light smoke.
Investigators say they discovered the oven door open with clothes burning inside.
The fire was put out, but some of the clothing burned a small area on the floor and cabinet.
No arrests have been made at this time.
