BATON ROUGE- State District Judge Trudy White ruled the father of Xzayvion Riley will be held in Parish Prison without bail.

Michael Robertson did not appear in District Court today. Instead, his hearing was done via video conferencing.

The child's mother, Lavaughn Riley, is scheduled to have her hearing tomorrow via video conference.

Riley was found dead last week with multiple bruises and bite marks on his body. Both his parents are charged with first-degree murder and cruelty to a juvenile.
