UNDATED - The New Orleans Hornets are the lucky team to face the Miami Heat after the Heat suffered their first loss after that 27-game winning streak. Tonight in the Crescent City the Hornets are playing host to the Heat, who were beaten by the Bulls in Chicago two nights ago.

In the marquee game of the night the Clippers are playing the Spurs in San Antonio. In the NBA Western Conference the Spurs are tops with 54 wins and 17 defeats while the Clippers are third with 49 wins and 23 setbacks. The Spurs top the Southwest Division while the Clippers lead the Pacific. Oklahoma City resides in second place in the West with a record of 53-19 and tonight the Thunder are at Minnesota.

With Miami suffering that setback the other night the Knicks are the hottest team in the league now with a six game winning streak. They put it on the line with a home game against Charlotte tonight.

The longest losing streak in the league is held by Orlando, eight straight. Tonight the last-place Magic are in Washington for a game with the Wizards.

The rest of the Friday schedule has Boston at home to Atlanta, the 76ers in Cleveland, Toronto playing at Detroit, Memphis playing host to Houston, Brooklyn at Denver and Utah at Portland.
