BATON ROUGE - Chef Chris Wadsworth from Triumph Kitchen showed us how to make a great holiday appetizer today on News 2 at 4.
To make his bacon-wrapped dates with strawberries, Chef Wadsworth says to take a single strip of bacon and wrap it around a half-date and a sliced half of a strawberry, then spear it with a toothpick to hold it together.
Wadsworth said you can also drizzle something sweet like cane syrup over it if you like. He said the appetizers do a great job blending sweet and savory flavors together.
