Back in the air
WASHINGTON- The Navy's Blue Angels flying team can fly again and tour for air shows.
The Pentagon budgeted $129 million on Navy port visits, military band performances, Blue Angels and Air Force Thunderbirds appearances.
That's money in the new budget where last year, many community programs were eliminated as the so called sequestration budget cuts took hold in mid-year.
The result was dozens of canceled community air shows across the country.
Continued budget cuts reduced hundreds of the military's community activities.
