BATON ROUGE- Authorities are entering the second day of searching for a man who led them on a car chase through Baton Rouge Monday evening.

State Police say a trooper tried to stop a red Chevy pickup truck for a traffic violation at the intersection of Bluebonnet and Burbank. When the trooper tried to stop the vehicle the driver fled, leading the trooper to BREC Farr Park Equestrian Center where the pursuit continued on foot.

Troopers are still looking for the suspect. He's described as a light-complexion black man with curly hair and a goatee. He was wearing a gray shirt, blue pants and a black backpack at the time of the chase.
