The Louisiana Legislative Auditor has created a standardized set of forms that local governments can use to seek reimbursement for their spill response and cleanup efforts from BP PLC.

The forms are modeled after FEMA paperwork that local governments fill out to get reimbursed for their hurricane response efforts.

The office hopes BP will agree to use them as a standardized reimbursement claim.
