Audience not married to 'Governor's Wife'
GONZALES- Things are not so Hollywood-like at the Edwards' upscale home in Ascension Parish these days, especially since dismal ratings forced A&E to move the family's reality TV show.
Instead of its usual Sunday night slot, The Governor's Wife was moved up almost nine hours, to midday Sunday. All remaining episodes ran back-to-back on November 10th.
While that usually spells disaster for a TV program, Trina Scott Edwards insists the show about her and her former governor-turned convict, Edwin, has not been canceled.
A fifth of the show's audience left since the premiere in October.
