Auburn gets on the board following LSU interception, 21-7 LSU
LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger threw his first interception of the 2013 season on the first play of the second half and Auburn marched half the field for their first points of the night.
Mettenberger was picked off by Jermaine Whitehead near midfield who fought off Jarvis Landry for the ball on a slow thrown out pattern.
Auburn then worked the zone read offense to perfection keeping LSU defenders guessing who would get the ball long enough make significant gains rushing the ball.
Auburn marched 50 yards in seven plays and just over two minutes to get their first points of the game with a Tre Mason two yard plunge.
