Attorney: LSU's Jeremy Hill heckled before punch
BATON ROUGE- LSU running back Jeremy Hill's attorney said the evidence showing Hill punching another man does not show the events leading to the hit that has him in serious trouble.
Marci Blaize said her client was heckled about past legal trouble prior to the part of the fight last weekend that was caught on video. Hill was on probation stemming from his plea of misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Police arrested Hill after the fight for misdemeanor simple battery. The victim was knocked out after a second, unidentified person hit him again.
Hill was indefinitely suspended from the LSU football team following the incident.
