Attempted murder suspects arrested
BATON ROUGE - Police have arrested two men for their suspected involvement in a shooting in Baton Rouge.
It happened on Washington Avenue not far from Memorial Stadium.
Gregory Gustave, 19, and Joshua Harris, 19, were arrested after robbing two men at gun point and shooting one of the victims as he tried to run away. The victim was hit in the abdomen and arm, but did survive.
Officials say Gustave called the victims and asked them to give him a ride to Washington Avenue. After getting picked up and making another phone call, Harris came up from behind the car. That's when both Gustave and Harris pulled out hand guns. Gustave shot at one victim while Harris went through the other victim's pocket.
Gustave and Harris were booked with attempted 1st degree murder, attempted robbery, and illegal use of a dangerous weapon. No bond has been set.
