At least 28 dead in Afghan mosque bombing
KABUL, Afghanistan - A suicide bomber has killed at least 28 people inside a Shiite mosque in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
Officials and eyewitnesses say another 45 people were wounded.
The head of the criminal investigation department for police in Kabul says the attacker was on foot and detonated his suicide vest among the crowds inside the mosque in the western part of the city.
