Ascension students to present anti-bullying campaigns

GONZALES - Students from all eight Ascension Parish middle schools are presenting projects to inform the public about bullying.

It's part of the "Stop the Silence" project showcase taking place at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the Gonzales Civic Center.

Students will present their projects including a 30-second TV commercial, billboards, flyers, posters and brochures.

The showcase will include project from each student group, food, a raffle, and the announcement of winners.

The schools participating are:

  • Central Middle School
  • Dutchtown Middle School
  • Galvez Middle School
  • Gonzales Middle School
  • Lake Elementary School
  • Lowery Middle School
  • Prairieville Middle School
  • St. Amant Middle School
