A mobile oxygen supply trailer is now in place to serve oxygen-dependent residents across Ascension Parish during an emergency.

The trailer holds 10 cylinders that can supply about 300 oxygen tanks, before being refilled.

Ascension is the first parish in the state to have an oxygen supply trailer for it's residents.
