Ascension Parish fugitive sought

DONALDSONVILLE - Ascension Parish authorities are searching for a dangerous fugitive in connection with two shootings that occurred in the City of Donaldsonville.

Deputies are looking for Larry Earl Miles, 22, of 924 Elizabeth Street in Donaldsonville.

The shootings occurred the night of July 3rd in the McDonald's parking lot and on Elizabeth Street.

Two people were shot, sustaining non-life threatening injuries.

Cars and a home were also struck by the gunfire.

Miles faces charges for principal to attempted 2nd degree murder, Illegal use of a weapon, disturbing the peace and aggravated assault.

Miles has a criminal history dating back to 2007 that consists of principal to attempted 2nd degree murder, domestic abuse battery, aggravated battery, possession of stolen property, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, flight from an officer and drug and weapons charges.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office at 225-621-INFO (4636.)

Three others, Demetrius Christopher Williams, Anthony Marquette Clark and Malcolm Oliver have already been arrested in connection with those shootings.
