Arson suspected in Baton Rouge house fire
BATON ROUGE - Fire officials believe an arsonist is behind an early Thursday morning house fire in Baton Rouge.
The home in the 2200 block of Maryland St. went up in flames just after midnight. 75% of the home was damaged by the time the fire was extinguished. The home's occupants were able to get out safely, and our now being assisted by the Red Cross.
