Arson investigation underway in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE - An arson investigation is underway after a home was torched in Baton Rouge overnight.
The vacant house went up in flames in the 2000 block of Nebraska St. around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. That building is considered a total loss.
The heat from the fire was so intense that it melted the siding on the home across the street. The person that lived in that home was uninjured.
Investigators believe arson is the cause of the blaze. Anyone with information should call Fire Investigators at (225)354-1419.
