Prosecutors say a maintenance man set fire to an apartment building in Chicago at the order of the owner because the owner wanted to collect the insurance money. The arson killed seven people. The owner, Lawrence Myers, and the maintenance man, Marion Cormier, are charged with murder and arson. Both pleaded not guilty and are held without bond. Prosecutors say Myers told Cormier to set the fire on a week day when kids living in the building would be at school. Instead, they say Cormier set it on a Sunday morning when residents were asleep. The insurance policy on the building was worth $250 thousand.
