Arson blamed for Tuesday night apartment fire
BATON ROUGE - A fire bug lit two vehicles on fire under the awning of an apartment Tuesday night and it spread to the building, the fire department said.
One of eight units in the building at the Stumberg Condominiums on Stumberg Lane near the intersection of Jefferson Highway was burned and determined unlivable. A family of five was displaced, the department said.
Crews from both the Baton Rouge Fire Department and the St. George Fire Department worked the blaze.
