Arson blamed for fire at vacant home
BATON ROUGE - A vacant house is completely destroyed after firefighters say an arsonist lit a house on fire early Saturday morning.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. at a house located on 4000 Mayan St.
Fire officials say the property was completely engulfed in flames by the time they got to the scene.
The house is considered a total loss, and no injuries were reported.
