Arrest report alleges repeated assaults on girl by BR reality TV star
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies re-arrested "Sons of Guns" reality show star William Hayden Tuesday for new child sex charges.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office issued a new arrest warrant Tuesday for Hayden on aggravated rape charges. U. S. Marshals arrested Hayden in Livingston Parish, and he was transferred to EBRSO's custody.
Deputies originally arrested Hayden on Aug. 9 for child molestation charges after a former girlfriend claimed he'd molested their daughter. He denied the charges, saying they were made up to take advantage of his celebrity. Both cases involve the same 12-year-old girl.
According to arrest documents, the victim feared for her safety and kept quiet even after Hayden's initial arrest in early August. The victim said she was intimidated by Hayden who told her, "Don't tell them nothing, because I'm all you got."
The affidavit, obtained by WBRZ News 2, alleges that Hayden began having sex with the child in March 2013 when she was 11. The girl told authorities that Hayden raped her almost daily until July 2014 when she turned 12.
Red Jacket Firearms, Hayden's business which is featured on the TV show, posted a statement after his arrest that they had legally separated from him.
"With heavy hearts, we will continue to operate to ensure that we do everything in our power to fulfill customer orders, back orders and to provide support to those affected by these new developments," the company's statement said.
As of this update, Hayden remained in custody on a $250,000 bond.
In an exclusive interview with WBRZ Tuesday, William Hayden's wife, Rachel, defended her husband and said the family will work to move forward. Click HERE to read and watch the report.
