Arrest made in pellet gun attack against teenager Saturday

BATON ROUGE - Emergency crews responded to a teenage male shot by bird shot pellets Saturday afternoon. 

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office says that shooting happened in the 200 block of McCastle Ave. near Old Rafe Meyer Road. 

Authorities say teenager was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. 

Dalvin Coates, 21, was charged with attempted murder and illegal use of a weapon.  Authorities said Coates and the teenage victim had an argument and Coates chased him down and shot him numerous times.
