PORT ALLEN - Sheriff's deputies arrested a man they said shot and killed a Brusly teen this weekend at a Port Allen gas station.
Col. Richie Johnson with the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested Marcus Richardson, 22, in connection with the shooting Sunday night.
Johnson said 18-year-old Justin Warner died in the shooting. Investigators said he and Richardson got into an altercation in the parking lot of the Exxon Truck Plaza on La. 1 Sunday night before the shooting happened.
Deputies booked Richardson on second-degree murder charges.
Family members said Warner was a student at Brusly High, and a member of the football team.
News 2's Michael Shingleton will have more on this shooting tonight starting at 4 p.m.
