Arrest made in 2012 murder
BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a Baton Rouge man Friday for a murder committed in August 2012.
Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said detectives and members of the Special Response Team arrested Danny Cousin, 23, on suspicion of shooting and killing Bryan Young, 28.
Investigators said Young, a prostitute, was shot during an attempted robbery on Aug. 31 near two apartments on Huron Street. Investigators said they gathered new information recently which led to Cousin's arrest in connection with the shooting.
Officers booked Cousin into the parish jail on first degree murder charges.
