Arrest made after body found in alley
BATON ROUGE - Police said U. S. Marshals arrested a man today in connection with a killing last week where a man was found dead behind a Baton Rouge business.
Lt. Don Kelly said Marshals arrested Christopher Spears, 27, today on suspicion of shooting and killing Brandon Carter, 25. They charged him with first degree murder and armed robbery.
Police found Carter shot to death behind a business around 2150 N. Sherwood Forest on June 12. Authorities searched the surrounding area but didn't make any arrests until today.
